Our trip to Greece from 12 to 16 November was incredible! We spent the first day travelling from Portugal to Athenes, the capital of Greece and then to Heraklion, in the island of Crete. We were welcomed by the host families and in the evening we went to a party with the other students from the Erasmus project.
In that week we visited Heraklion, we worked, we played
and had a lot of fun at the Greek school. We went to the City Hall and attended
sessions about the refugees programs in Creete.
We also worked this topic in groups. On one of the days we took the bus to
Anogeia where we visited a centre which accommodates refugees. In groups we cooked, drew,
danced, sang and had lunch.
Each country
cooked traditional dishes. The Portuguese
team prepared “Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá”, a traditional cod dish. On the last day
we went to Knossos where we visited the famous archaeological
site of Knossos. In the evening he had a farewell party at school. We ate drank, danced and said goodbye to our
friends.
We really enjoyed this trip and we loved making a lot of
friends. It was very important to us because
it was the last trip of the project for us and we are not going to see some of
our friends anymore, except those who will come to Portugal in February. It was also important because we don’t usually go to many
parties in Portugal and in Heraklion we went not only to some parties but also
to restaurants with our friends to have lunch.

A NOSSA VIAGEM À GRÉCIA
A nossa viagem à Grécia de 12 a 16 de novembro foi incrível!
No primeiro dia estivemos o dia a viajar
de Portugal para a Capital da Grécia, Atenas. Depois fomos para Heraclião, a capital da ilha de Creta. Fomos
recebidas pelas famílias que nos acolheram e à noite fomos a uma festa dos
alunos do Erasmus.
Durante a semana conhecemos Heraclião, trabalhámos, jogámos e divertimo-nos na
escola grega. Estivemos na Câmara Municipal
de Heraclião e assistimos a várias apresentações sobre os programas de
refugiados em Creta. Depois em grupos trabalhámos o mesmo tema. Num dos dias fomos
de autocarro para Anogeia, visitar uma casa de jovens refugiados. Dividimo-nos
em grupos onde tínhamos de cozinhar, desenhar, dançar, cantar e depois
almoçámos o que cada país cozinhou. Portugal cozinhou Bacalhau à Gomes de
Sá. No último dia em Creta fomos visitar Knossos. Passeámos e
visitámos o famoso centro arqueológico de Knossos. À noite fomos à festa
de despedida na escola, comemos, dançámos e despedimo-nos dos nossos colegas.
Gostámos muito desta viagem e também gostámos de fazer
muitos amigos. Foi muito importante para nós porque esta foi a nossa última
viagem e não vamos voltar a ver alguns dos nossos amigos, excepto os que vêm a
Portugal em fevereiro. Foi também importante porque em Portugal não vamos a muitas festas e em
Heraclião tivemos oportunidade de ir não só a várias festas como de ir com os
nossos amigos almoçar ao restaurante.
Obrigada por nos terem recebido tão bem, pela amizade que demostraram e estamos ansiosas
por vos ver em fevereiro em Portugal!
